Harry Brokensha is a composer, music producer and orchestrator based in London, UK.
He recently scored ABC's 20/20 special feature IN THE COLD DARK NIGHT, which aired in July 2020, and is currently preparing to score a new narrative feature film KINDLING and a BBC Films production SHÉ. Earlier this year, he wrote music for O BLACK HOLE!, an animated opera from Sundance 2019 winner Renee Zhan, which is shortlisted for the 2020 BAFTA Student Film Awards along with documentary ISLE OF US. He also scored the documentary EUROTRUMP for Viceland and Dutch national broadcast, which screened at DOC NYC, Sheffield Doc/Fest and CPH:DOX.
As an orchestrator, he has worked for Lorne Balfe and 14th Street Music on productions including THE TOMORROW WAR and RUMBLE and he has also worked as a composer's assistant to Sally Potter. His concert works have been performed live at the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and the O2 Arena. He also regularly collaborates with several pop artists and producers, including Josh Grimmett (Goodboys), Lokki, Glowe, and Now Ex.
He graduated with a degree in music from Oxford University before completing a master's degree in composition at the National Film and Television School.
